SCAD is back in session and it’s been great to see so many returning students and the fresh-faced enthusiasm of the freshman class. Welcome to Savannah, y’all!
We had an awesome signing event with long-time Sonic the Hedgehog artist Tracy Yardley last night. We even had people call in from Louisiana to be a part of the evening. After the signing for Sonic 900 and the Summer Special, I sat down with Tracy for a wide-ranging discussion about his career, influences and what it means for Sonic to hit 900 stories. This Saturday is BATMAN DAY! We'll have comics exclusive to the event, including FREE comics for all ages. Plus, ALL single issue Batman comics are half off! That's right, from those pricey wall books to this week's newest comics - HALF PRICE single issues.
Sunday from 1-3, come trade graphic novels and manga with fellow readers! This is a great chance to meet other local comic lovers and get some new stories, for FREE!
